The summit was held on Friday January 22, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Peters Catholic Church, located on 1529 Assembly Street, Columbia SC 29202.

 The Second SC Hispanic Affairs Summit educates leaders, legislators, agency representatives, media and the general public about the issues and opportunities facing Hispanics in South Carolina and the need for comprehensive immigration reform. The summit reviews the social, economic and cultural contributions of the Latino community to promote dialog and exchange of ideas regarding strategies, proposals and recommendations aimed at raising the living standards of the Latino community in the region.
